The world cup is comin up so i thought to put some fun facts about football
-There are 19 yard lines that divide the field into five-yard segments.
-Hash marks are the small sets of lines that run the length of the field in one-yard intervals.
-The field is 100 yards long. The yards are counted up to 50. The 50-yard line is the center of the field. Each team has its own half of the field.
-The Y-shaped structures on each end of the field are goal posts. The goal posts are 18 feet, six inches apart. They are 30 feet tall and the crossbar is 10 feet off the ground.
-The end lines are the boundary lines at the ends of the field. If a player runs past them, he's considered out of bounds.
-The sideline is the boundary line along each side of the field. If a player runs past the sideline he is out of bounds.
-The end zone is 10 yards deep and is located at each end of the field.
-The goal line separates the end zone from the rest of the field. The offense tries to cross his line to score a touchdown.
-The playing field is 100 yards long and 53 and 1/3 yards wide.
